Today was the second day of the conference and the first day of classes and competitions.
The classes were 1 hour long seminars. The topics were Live Fire Fighting, Hazmat, Water Supply, Collapse Rescue, Confined Space Rescue, Emergency Medical Services, High Angle Rescue, Vehicle Extrication, and Water Supply.
The competitions are Bunker Gear and SCBA, Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT)), Hose Race, Size up and Incident Command, One Person CPR, Wildfire Shelter Deployment and Written Examination.
The Explorers spent the day transitioning between seminars and competitions.
In the evening the posts competed in a "Wet and Wild" Competition. 2 teams compete by opposing there hose streams and moving the ball to the end of the cable. Yeah, they got wet.
We all had a great time today and worked very hard. Everyone will sleep well tonight.
